At Faith Community Church, we strive to be a diverse congregation which embodies the true unity and agape love that our Lord Jesus Christ spoke of during His ministry here on earth. Missionaries in Papua New Guinea: Bill & Jen Morlang, along with their sons Garrett and Jake, are currently serving in Papua New Guinea as missionaries. Their oldest son, Garrett, recently graduated from Numonohi Christian Academy located in the heart of the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. While Jake will be returning to Numonohi Christian Academy in the fall, Garrett will be attending New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI. Please support them with prayer and if possible, donations which can be made through Faith Community Church.

Melchizedeks Motorcycle Ministry

	God has provided opportunities for the Melchizedeks to serve our community through bike blessings in both Rochester and Troy, weddings, visits in locked facilities, hospital visits, memorials, baptisms, baby dedications, and sharing our faith through friendships.

In July 1983, Pastor Mark Ammerman of Faith Community Church in Geneva, NY was called, by God, to a ministry to bikers. Shortly thereafter, it was clear to Mark that the call was specifically to the 1%er MC community. In 1985, Mark’s wife Sherry was killed in a motorcycle accident and his resolve to persist toward the success of the ministry was strengthened. A connection to Troy, NY was made with “Reverend Jim” Carter, and the seed was planted for MELCHiZEDEKS MC in the Capital District.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLUB IS TO BE AVAILABLE TO LOVE AND SERVE, AND SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WITH THE MOTORCYCLE CLUB "MC" COMMUNITY.

Music

Here at Faith Community Church, you'll find a variety of music ranging from contemporary Christian to classic hymns on any given Sunday. Male and Female vocalists lead praise and worship, backed by an ensemble of musicians.

Sound Foundation

Sound Foundation is the worship band for Faith Community Church in Geneva, NY. In 2008, Sound Foundation was created as an outreach ministry to spread the message of Jesus Christ through the vehicle of music to believers and unbelievers alike. In addition to the Holy Spirit, we are influenced by and play cover songs of popular Christian artists like Paul Baloche, Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith and David Crowder. We enjoy playing both in church settings and other local venues including coffee houses.

Every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 6:30 pm, volunteers serve a hot meal to community members. It is open to the public and all are welcome. This ministry serves between 120 to 150 people in an average week.

Doors open for prep at 5:00 pm

Dinner 6:00-6:30

Clean-up at 6:30-7:00

Need reliable car for local travel

Sonia's Closet:

A special Thank You from Sonia's Closet: To all that have donated to this clothing ministry, you have all helped and blessed thousands of people with clothing needs. May God continue to bless you as you have blessed others. Sonia's Closet is open every Wednesday from 6 to 7pm and also in case of emergency. The Congregation Classifieds: There are several areas in the church where help is needed. Check out the Leaders Line photos near the pastor’s Office. All these areas could use more help. If you have a calling in any of these areas please contact that Leader. They will be more than glad to plug you in!!
